Police arrested 2 people for supplying arms including magazines and modern weapons including LMG to Naxalites

Palamu:  The police is continuously running a search campaign regarding the Lok Sabha elections. In this sequence, the police have arrested two suppliers who supply arms to the Naxalites. Palamu Police has arrested both these arms suppliers from Jharkhand-Bihar border area Police have recovered one local carbine, eight old SLR magazines, three LMG magazines, three live bullets and two mobile phones from them.

Police are interrogating both the arrested suppliers. Also, search operations are being conducted in many areas. According to the Sources, the arms supplier was going to supply a large consignment of weapons to the banned Naxalite organization TPC. But before that the police arrested both of them.

Palamu SP Rishma Ramesan said that the police had received secret information that some people had kept weapons and magazines in the Hariharganj police station area. On the basis of this, the police arrested Ghanshyam Choubey and Gobinda Kumar, supporters of TSPC militant organization.

aushad Alam, Chhatarpur SPDO, Chandan Kumar, Hariharganj police station in-charge, SI Lal Bahadur Harijan, Sanjay Kumar Singh, Manoj Das, Biru Singh, Shankar Oraon and other soldiers were present on the spot.
