PM visited Lord Birsa Munda Museum, offered flowers on the statue of Dharti Aaba

Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Lord Birsa Munda Memorial Park cum Freedom Fighters Museum on Wednesday. He observed the statues of martyrs installed in Dharti Aaba Karakachsh and the premises. During this, he paid tribute by offering flowers to the 25 feet high statue of Dharti Aba.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Union Minister Arjun Munda and Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan were also present along with the PM. Birsa Munda breathed his last here on June 9, 1900. PM Modi paid respectful tribute to Lord Birsa Munda ji on his birth anniversary by doing ‘X’ (formerly Twitter). 

The PM wrote a respectful tribute to Lord Birsa Munda ji on his birth anniversary. Many best wishes to my family members across the country on this special occasion of Tribal Pride Day. Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary is celebrated as Jan Jatiya Gaurav Diwas in the entire country.

After Lord Birsa Munda Museum, he visited Ulihatu village, the birthplace of Birsa Munda in Khunti district. In Ulihatu, he launched an Rs 24,000 crore project aimed at the welfare of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). Modi also launched ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra’. He released the 15th installment of Rs 18,000 crore under the PM-Kisan scheme and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 7,200 crore in the state.
