Ranchi: Selected international para throw ball players from Jharkhand met the Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Chief Minister’s Chamber in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.
On this occasion, the Para Throw Ball players informed the Chief Minister that both men and women of the Indian team won gold medals in the Para Throw Ball Competition held in Malaysia.
The women’s section of the Indian para throw ball team included Anita Tirkey, Taramani Lakra, Mahima Oraon, Pratima Tirkey and Ansuta Toppo from Jharkhand, while the men’s section included Mukesh Kanchan and Sanoj Mahto.
The players jointly said before the Chief Minister that the performance of all the players selected from Jharkhand in the competition has been excellent.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister extended his best wishes to all the para throw ball players.
Khijri MLA Rajesh Kachhap, office bearers of Para Throw Ball Association Jharkhand and all the players selected from Jharkhand were present on this occasion.
