Ranchi: With the launch of ‘CM-SUPPORTS’ app by Chief Minister Hemant Soren to give benefits to the poor people covered under the National Food Security Scheme or the Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme as part of the “Petrol Subsidy Scheme” for their two-wheelers holders positive feedback has started to emerge from ration cardholders.
Within 24 hours of the launch of the app, applications of about sixteen thousand people have come under the “Petrol Subsidy Scheme”. So far 656 applications from Bokaro district, 544 of Ranchi, 407 of Lohardaga, 326 of Seraikela- Kharsawan, 289 of Khunti district have been approved under the scheme.
By registering in the CMSUPPORTS app or http:// jsfss.jharkhand.gov.in, the process of giving benefits of the scheme to the ration card holders has started. From January 26, through the scheme, a subsidy of Rs 25 per liter (Rs 250 per month for a maximum of 10 liters of petrol per month) for two-wheelers to the beneficiaries covered by the ration card will be transferred to their bank account through DBT. The Chief Minister will launch the scheme from Dumka on January 26.
