A workers’ welfare programme was organized by the Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS) for its staff, in which Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, Regional Director, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), and Mr. Rajendra Tudu, Assistant Regional Director, ESIC, participated.
The ESIC officials were warmly received by YSS sanyasis Swami Sadananda and Bramhachari Satsangananda.
During the programme, the ESIC officials presented a detailed overview of the various benefits and provisions available under the ESIC scheme to the staff members of YSS. They also appreciated the sustained efforts of the Yogoda Satsanga Society of India in promoting employee welfare and social security.
On the occasion, Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, Regional Director, ESIC, formally handed over the pension cheque along with arrears to the family of late Mr. Absalom Toppo, who had been employed at the YSS Ashram.
The family members of late Mr. Toppo expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the YSS monks for their continuous support, and to the ESIC officials for their timely assistance in completing the pension formalities and ensuring prompt disbursement of the entitled amount.
