PCCF directs all forest officials to protect biological parks & other institutions and departments

Ranchi: According to the decision taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the subject of Mission LiFE (Life Style for Environment) to reduce the adverse effects of climate change in the year 2021 at the COP-26 Summit of Climate Change, Glasgow, the Government of India has adopted seven Themes in the month of May-June, 2023.

These include Save Energy Save Water Say no to single plastic,  Adopt sustainable Food System, Reduce Waste, Adopt Healthy Life Styles, and Reduce E-waste. 

By implementing 75 individual and community actions in their lives, it has been decided to spread awareness among the general public by campaigning to prevent environmental damage and ill effects of climate change.  

In order to make this program successful Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Chief of Forest Force, Jharkhand, Ranchi instructed all the forest officers of the state through video conferencing to make this mission successful. He directed to protect the environment and reduce the ill effects of climate change as much as possible by making efficient use of electricity and water and proper execution of E-waste etc.

For this, the department will work to spread awareness among government departments, educational institutions, offices and general public at every level through Nukkad Natak rally, public meetings, a total of 75 such approved actions.  For this, efforts have to be made for all protected areas, biological parks and other institutions and departments.
