Ranchi: Railways has decided to make a trial run of the new rake of Vande Bharat Express from Patna to Ranchi on Sunday.
The trail run will be on the new approximate 378 Km Patna – Gaya – Barkakana – BIT Mesra – Tatisilwai – Ranchi route with eight coaches from Patna at 6.55 AM reaching Gaya at 8.20 AM, Barkakana at 11.30 AM and in Ranchi at 1 PM.
On its return, it will leave Ranchi at 2.20 PM, reaching Barkakana at 3.30 PM, Gaya at 7 PM and Patna at 8.25 PM. It will take at least 6 Hours of the journey from Patna to Ranchi, the Railway Official said.
According to Sources, Railway has deputed experienced traffic inspectors from both Danapur and Dhanbad divisions to make foot plating (Travel with Loco Pilots) to record minute-to-minute time during the trial run from both ends. In case of any operational glitches, an expert team of railways will resolve the issue on priority, sources said.
