Ranchi: Tet pass para teachers of the state gathered at the JMM office on Saturday.
Their JMM office gherao program was pre-planned.
In this sequence, all the teachers surrounded the main party of the Jharkhand government to get their demands met.
Para teachers from different districts participated in this gherao programme.
These Tet pass para teachers have been protesting outside Raj Bhavan for the last 80 days.
Here para teachers from all the districts are coming one by one and joining the movement.
During the gherao program, JMM general secretary Vinod Pandey called a delegation of teachers for talks.
Mithilashan Upadhyay of the delegation who came out after the talks said that the General Secretary said that we are understanding your demand.
Discussions have been held twice at the government level regarding your demand.
Now is the time for festivals.
It will be our endeavor to get your committee talking to the government.
In response to this, the delegation said that if our point is not taken to the government, then there will be a strong protest on 15th November, State Foundation Day.
Earlier, Tet Para teachers’ organization had talked about gherao the JMM office on October 8.
Then the party’s Central General Secretary Vinod Pandey had assured to consider their demands.
After which the para teachers postponed the gherao program.
But after their demands were not considered in any way, the angry para teachers reached JMM office.
And are protesting outside the gate.
Regarding their agitation, para teachers say that even after fulfilling all the standards, the government did not even consider it appropriate to talk to them.
In such a situation, now we will intensify the movement.
The protest will continue in front of Raj Bhavan even on the day of Diwali.
Tet pass assistant teachers say that the present government did not fulfill the promise made to para teachers in 2019.
The government made para teachers assistant teachers but did not provide them the facilities as assistant teachers.
He says that there are 14 thousand 42 para teachers (assistant teachers) who have passed TET in the state.
The state government gave the status of assistant teachers to Tet pass para teachers but did not give them the pay scale.
Whereas TET pass fulfills all the eligibility criteria to become a para teacher and assistant teacher.
They say that our movement will continue.
Now assistant teachers passing the TET exam across the state have become quite furious.
They are planning to organize a big agitation in Ranchi on the occasion of the foundation day of Jharkhand state, which will be announced later.
