Integrated Public Health Lab to be established in Sadar Hospital Lohardaga with Rs 1.44 crore

Lohardaga: Integrated Public Health Lab will be established in Lohardaga Sadar Hospital at a cost of Rs 1 crore 44 lakh 6 thousand 900. This lab will be built under the Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Scheme in the financial year 2023-24.

Additional Secretary of Health Department, Arun Kumar Singh has approved this. The scheme will be implemented under the MoU signed between the Government of India and the State Government under the PM Ayushman Bharat Mission. With the construction of a lab, patients will not have to wander here and there to get pathological tests done.

Apart from the centrally sponsored scheme, the remaining amount of Rs 19 lakh 6 thousand 900 will be borne by the state scheme. The withdrawal and disposal officer of this allotted amount will be Lohardaga Deputy Commissioner. This amount will be spent on this item – Civil work: 4349947, Plumber work: 1070632, Electrical work: 213396, HVAC work: 1397874, Lab equipment: 4898935
