Ranchi: A grand Tilak Utsav procession of Pahari Baba was taken out with musical instruments on behalf of Aryapuri Shiv Manch Mandir Himalayan family, in which the members of the Himalayan family placed tilak material in colorful baskets on their foreheads and chanted Pahari Baba Ki Jai, Bholenath Ki Jai.
Jai, Parvati – Jai Shiva reached the hill temple with cars, where Shri Shiv Baraat Organizing Committee, Chief Convener of Pahari Temple Jitendra Singh, Patron Rakesh Sinha, President Rajesh Sahu and Badal Singh were present.
Jain Devotees were welcomed by the priests of Pahari Temple by giving him Angavastra and garlanding them.
After which the ritual of Tilak Utsav was completed as per the rituals, Aarti was performed with Chhappanbhog and Pahari Baba Grand decoration was done.
On this occasion, after daily worship and Aarti of Pahari Baba in the morning, prasad of Maha Bhandara was offered to Baba, Baba’s Bhandara started from 9 in the morning which continued till late night, the main focus of Bhandara was to spread Shiv ji’s message to the society.
