Opposition to meet at Hemant residence on July 10 to further chalk out future strategy

Ranchi: A meeting of the opposition parties in the state has been scheduled at the residence of acting president of JMM Hemant Soren on July 10th which would be attended also by the leaders of Congress JVM RJD and the left parties.

In the meeting, it is expected that this parties food hold discussions over a group containing and establishing coordination among their workers as an attempt would be made to execute lessons which have been learnt during the Lok Sabha elections.

JVM and RJD leaders are of the view that during the Lok Sabha poll big leaders of all the parties campaign for their respective candidates by leaders from the alliance partners were visible only during nominations and remained far away during the campaigning due to which the results were not in favour of the Mahagathbandhan.

In the meeting apart from talks on the seat-sharing stress would be also recorded on establishing coordination between workers at the ground level as after the Lok Sabha elections all the parties had exchanged allegations against each other.

State RJD president Abhay Singh said that to strengthen the mahagathbandhan their leaders would be present in the meeting and party would be focusing on group campaigning is said that the of mahagathbandhan which perform in the Lok Sabha polls could not be realised on the ground.

JVM spokesperson Yogendra Pratap Singh said that talks would be held on acceptable seat sharing between the allies and said that in the Assembly Elections group campaign important and wanted that in the Lok Sabha elections Mr Babulal Marandi despite his tight schedule in Koderma had campaigned in Giridih and Santhal Pargana.

JPCC media in charge Rajesh Thakur said that instead of according prominence to seat distribution and talks between big leaders it is important that. coordination between workers is established.

He said that distribution of seats has also taken place in the Lok Sabha elections but results did not come in their favour. He said that if the leaders continue to hold talks on the old pattern than things will not materialise.
