Ranchi, Apr 28: The state’s largest government hospital Rajendra
Institute of Medical Sciences is once again in the news for incident
of child theft which seriously raises questions over the security
being maintained at the hospital.
The CCTV footage clearly shows the woman running away with a newly
born baby which was born to one Arja Khatoon of Muri. RIMS sources
said that over the past few days the child theirf women had become
acquaintance of Arja. Sensing an opportunity Friday Morning when she
found that Arja had dozed off and thee were no family members near by
she took the child and fled away.
Later the family members met RIMS Deputy Superintendent Gopal
Srivastav and lodged their complaint following which the police was
informed. Further probe was on.
