There have been many such occasions when showing utmost sensitivity, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed the officers to help the complainant even at midnight.
In another such case, on the instructions of Chief Minister arrangements were made for proper treatment of elderly Shivnath’s wife who had been wandering for years.
The man a resident of Taranagar of Chas block of Bokaro district, was wandering from door to door for the last several years for the treatment of his wife’s broken leg. Over the years he knocked on everyone’s door but got nothing but assurances of help from everywhere.
Shivnath, unable to treat his wife, started begging from door to door by loading her on a rickshaw and asking for help for his wife’s treatment.
He had put up a board on the rickshaw on which he detailed about the condition of his wife and sought the help of the people. As soon as the information was received, the Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner to take immediate action and asked to be covered by the benefits of government schemes.
A social media user had tagged the Twitter handle of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, pleading for Shivnath’s help. Taking quick cognizance of which the Chief Minister, Hemant Soren directed the Deputy Commissioner, Bokaro to cover the couple with the benefits of government schemes, while making proper arrangements for the treatment of Shivnath’s wife.
After the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Deputy Commissioner, Bokaro got the address of the man detected and arrangements were made for his wife’s treatment immediately.
The Deputy Commissioner Bokaro, while replying to the instructions, said that Immediately Tara Devi has been admitted to Sadar Hospital Bokaro. A team of doctors is examining her. After supervision, the medical team will ensure further action for her proper treatment and everything possible will be done for this.
