Mumbai: Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has shared a heartwarming glimpse of how she is spending the rainy season, revealing that her favourite monsoon companion is her pet cat.
Taking to Instagram, the actress posted a series of cozy pictures with her feline friend as the two relaxed together on their balcony. Along with the photos, she wrote, “Baarish aa gaayi aur hum donon ne apni balcony seat pakad li,” expressing her excitement over the arrival of the monsoon. The post also featured a few solo portraits of the actress enjoying the pleasant weather.
A devoted cat lover, Nushrratt is the proud owner of four cats—Noah, Lola, Peanut, and Butter. She frequently shares adorable moments with her pets on social media, especially Noah, who often appears in her posts. Just last month, the actress treated fans to a stylish photoshoot featuring her furry companion.
On the professional front, Nushrratt made her Bollywood debut with Jai Santoshi Maa before appearing in Akaash Vani opposite Kartik Aaryan. She gained widespread recognition with Pyaar Ka Punchnama and later starred in successful films such as Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Dream Girl, Chhorii, Ram Setu and Akelli.
The actress was most recently seen in Chhorii 2, where she reprised her role as Sakshi. Reflecting on the experience, Nushrratt said portraying a mother in the horror thriller was emotionally demanding and pushed her to explore the deeper emotions of motherhood. She added that while playing a heavily pregnant woman in the first film was challenging, the emotional journey of motherhood in the sequel made the role even more intense and rewarding.
