Ranchi: The National Institutional Ranking Framework or NIRF rankings for higher education institutions across the nation have been released by the Union Ministry of Education on Friday. Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, Jharkhand is placed 38 in the overall top category. BIT Ranchi is ranked 99th among all universities.
In terms of top engineering schools, the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), located in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, came in at number 14th this year while BIT Ranch is now 53rd and NIT, Jamshedpur, came in at number 90th this year. Among the top management institute’s rankings, the Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) located in Jamshedpur came in at number eight this year.
The institute had the same ranking in 2021. IIM Ranchi, Jharkhand is placed 15th this year. In the NIRF Pharmacy category, BIT, Ranchi, Jharkhand is ranked 35th. Institutions from Jharkhand Under the Law category, National University of Study & Research in Law, Ranchi, Jharkhand, is ranked number 22 in the country for law.
IIT Madras continues to be the top-ranking institution in the overall category, followed by IIT Delhi. As for the university category, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, took the top spot.
