Cabinet Decisions: Approval on 55 proposals, old pension scheme also gets nod

Ranchi: In the meeting of the state cabinet held on Friday, 55 proposals were approved with the government also giving its nod to implement the old pension scheme with certain conditions. A three-member committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of the Development Commissioner for this. The Principal Secretary of Personnel and Principal Secretary of Finance Department will inquire about the status of the old pension scheme.

In another key decision, approval has been given to amend the Jharkhand University Act 2000. In all the universities working in the state, instead of the department, the appointment process will take place considering the university as a unit. The bill related to this will now come in the assembly.

Among other key decisions, those who burn 100 units of electricity will get free electricity has also got administrative approval. Further Chamber of formers will be built in Jharkhand for which approval of Rs 2.10 crores has been granted. Proposal for setting Jharkhand’s first digital skill university will come in the monsoon session, the university will be operated from the Polytechnic College in Khunti. In 2018, a total of eight polytechnic colleges were set up in Jharkhand.

These colleges have been set up in Khunti, Lohardaga, Palamu, Chatra, Jamtara, Godda, Bagodar and Hazaribagh. All these will be operated under the Polytechnic College built in Khunti. A family court will be made in Ramgarh district There are 36 Scheduled Castes (which are included in Schedule 1 and 2) of the state who do not get the benefit of caste reservation and EWS from the Centre therefore now the State Government has decided to adopt the Income and Asset Form issued from the Center.

The government has decided that Tana Bhagat will gets Rs 4000 for clothes twice a year and Rs 3.68 crores was approved for this. Money was spent by the government to fight the case. For this, post-facto approval of advance withdrawal of Rs 2 crore from Contingency Fund. MNREGA workers in Jharkhand will get Rs 237 per man-day.

The state government will give an additional amount of Rs.27. At present, Rs 210 is available from the center. 405 school principals will get training from IIM Ranchi while Azim Premji University Bill got approval. The bill will be passed in the monsoon session. Collectorate building will be built in Lohardaga for which Rs 45.80 crore has been approved. Administrative approval of Pandit Raghunath Murmu Tribal University Bill 2022 was also accorded by the cabinet.
