Ranchi: Nine buses were burnt after a massive fire broke out at the Khadgarha bus stand near KantaToli Chowk in Ranchi on Thursday. Around 1 o’clock in the afternoon six buses caught fire. Soon after three more buses caught fire.
The flames were terrible and all the buses were burnt to ashes. There was chaos on the Khadgada bus stand due to the incident of fire. The reasons for the fire in the buses are not yet known.
With the help of the locals and the almost dozen team of the fire brigade, the fire was brought under control. How buses caught fire is unknown.
The reason behind the fire will be known after the investigation. However, no statement has come from the police in this regard yet. The buses parked at the Khadgarha bus stand that caught fire are those of Nishant Travels, Maa Bhavani Travels, Radheshyam and LD Motors.
