Ranchi: Suspected Maoists set on fire a car including a Poklane, a Hyva, a DG set machine at the railway site of the Keisi Company in McCluskieganj of Ranchi. The incident is said to have taken place late on Monday evening.
Around 25 to 30 Naxalites had arrived with weapons. It has been reported that a Poklane, a highway and a Creta car parked at the site of RVNL, which is constructing the third line of the railway, were burnt. After the incident, all the people working in RVNL fled from the spot.
After getting information about the incident, McCluskieganj police station in-charge Rana Jang Bahadur Singh has left with Sadalbal police personnel to get information about the incident. Khalari police station in-charge cum inspector Farid Alam also reached the spot and assured investigation of the entire matter. When this incident was being carried out, many employees were present there who somehow saved their lives by running away from there. Everyone was scared after seeing the militants firing.
The Maoists had crossed the river from Chandwa side and reached the railway site, firing at them. Highway driver Ashok Paswan told in relation to the incident that all the extremist were raising slogans of Communist Party Zindabad, Police Administration Murdabad. Naxalite activities have suddenly intensified in these areas.
The Third Conference Presentation Committee (TSPC) has taken the responsibility of the arson incident that took place on Friday night in Purnadih KDH Transporting Road under CCL NK area. A dumper truck was set on fire by armed men on the night of September 22 on Purnadih-KDH Siding Transporting Road. Firing was also done before setting the fire.
Taking responsibility of this incident, TSPC has issued a press release by Balwant ji of North South Frontier Subzonal Committee of TSPC. The release said that the incident that took place a few days ago at KDH Kantaghar was also carried out by TSPC.
