National IMA felicitates Dr Kashyap couple for their excellent work with Kanak Goyal and Jyoti Ganguly Award

Prayagraj: On the first day of the annual conference of the Indian Medical Association organized in Prayagraj by Dr Sahajanand Prasad Singh, National President of the Indian Medical Association awarded Kanak Goyal award to Bharti Kashyap while Dr. BP Kashyap was honored with the Jyoti Ganguly Award. Dr BP Kashyap is credited for performing the first eye transplant of Jharkhand Bihar and was also responsible for starting the Robotic laser cataract surgery and electrophysiology in Jharkhand.

He was also responsible for the start of DNB courses for medical students. Dr Bharti Kashyap has not only organized cervical and breast cancer eradication camps at various places in the direction of women’s cancer eradication and eradicated cervical precancer by cry treatment at the camp site itself and trained government gynecologists in the state. Cervical pre-cancer post-treatment machines have also been installed in 12 major government hospitals. 

Thousands of women have received free treatment for diseases like anemia and leucorrhoea in mega women’s health camps being organized since 2015 by her and they have been prepared for safe motherhood Under the Eye Protection Campaign she has examined 20 symptoms of government school children and gave spectacles to the children who had left the school suffering from cataract and got them started school again after surgery.
