Mumbai — Television actress Narayani Shastri delighted fans by sharing a candid glimpse of her natural self in a recent social media post, proudly embracing a “no filter, no makeup” moment.
Taking to Instagram, the actress posted a few pictures of herself enjoying a relaxed time in her garden while playing with her dogs. Bathed in soft sunlight, Shastri appeared effortlessly radiant, with the natural light adding a warm glow to the candid photographs.
Captioning the post, she kept it simple and heartfelt: “No filter no make up just beautiful light and lots of love.”
The actress is widely known for her memorable roles in several popular television shows, including Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Piya Ka Ghar, Namak Haraam, Rishton Ka Chakravyuh, Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha and Nazar.
Shastri began her acting journey with the television show Kahani Saat Pheron Ki on DD National. Over the years, she also appeared in shows such as Mamta, where she replaced Neha Mehta in the titular role, and Kkusum, where she portrayed Tashu, the antagonist.
Apart from television, Narayani has also featured in films including Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin, Chandni Bar and Mumbai Meri Jaan. She was last seen in the film Rautu Ka Raaz alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rajesh Kumar and Atul Tiwari.
Currently, the actress is appearing in the television series Noyontara, which also stars Shruti Bhist, Arjun Chakrabarty, Shubham Dipta and Sakshi Sharma. The show is an official remake of the Bengali series Trinayani.
The storyline follows Noyontara, a young woman with the rare ability to communicate with spirits. Often misunderstood for her unusual gift, her life takes a dramatic turn after she marries Surjo, a man who strongly believes in logic and science.
