Ranchi: Mukti Sanstha performed mass cremation of 32 unclaimed dead bodies on the banks of the Jumar River on Sunday. Before cremation, the members of the organization prayed to God for the peace of the deceased soul. Then he lit the funeral pyre.
Mukti Sanstha has been cremating unclaimed dead bodies for the last nine years. Preparations were being made by the organization for several days for the last rites of these dead bodies.
After completing the legal formalities in RIMS, these unclaimed bodies were brought to the Jumar river bank. Then the last rites were performed.
Till now 1655 unclaimed dead bodies have been cremated by the organization.
