Mrunal Thakur Shares Similarities with Her Character in Do Deewane Sehar Mein

Mumbai: Actress Mrunal Thakur, who is preparing for the release of her upcoming film Do Deewane Sehar Mein, has opened up about her character, her mindset in the film, and the personal similarities she discovered while portraying the role.

During a conversation with IANS while promoting the film, the actress revealed that she connected deeply with her character, Roshni, especially after hearing the narration. She shared that Roshni is someone who tends to hide behind her glasses, a trait she found relatable from her own life experiences.

She explained that during the story narration, she realised how Roshni often suppresses herself despite knowing the answers, reflecting moments from her own life when she chose silence over expression. She noted that many individuals struggle with confidence and often present themselves differently from how they feel internally.

Mrunal further said she felt strongly about being part of the film because it highlights people like Roshni and Shashank, who battle insecurities and self-doubt despite possessing talent and ability. She pointed out that constant comparisons with others often make people feel inadequate, preventing them from expressing their true potential.

She also spoke about the fear of embarrassment and making mistakes, adding that her father has been a constant source of encouragement in her life. She credited him for supporting her through every phase and reminding her that self-doubt is often the biggest obstacle to progress.

Do Deewane Sehar Mein is scheduled to release in theatres on February 20, 2026.
