Ranchi: Ballot boxes and other election materials were made available to the state of Jharkhand by the Election Commission of India, New Delhi for the Presidential Election 2022.
The following materials for the state of Jharkhand were provided by the Election Commission of India, New Delhi for the Presidential Election 2022. The materials were provided to Sandeep Kumar, Branch Officer which include a Steel Ballot Box with a Wooden Box Cover, Keys of Ballot Box & Wooden Box, Ballot Papers, Authenticated List of Members of Electoral College for Presidential Election, 2022.
Badges for Chief Electoral Officer Assistant Returning Officers Officials Authorized Polling Representatives of Contesting Candidates (Three for Each). Violet Inked Pen for Marking Vote Rubber Stamps for Presiding Officer Poster on “Instructions” and Poster on “How to Use Pen” were also provided by the commission.
All the materials were safely brought to Birsa Airport, Ranchi by the authorized officials of the state, traveling from New Delhi to Ranchi by aircraft number Vistara UK-753, from where Ballot and all others were amidst complete security arrangements the election materials were brought to the strong room located in the Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha and the materials have been kept amidst 24×7 security arrangements.
Special arrangements were made in the aircraft for the transportation of election materials, under which a special seat was booked inside the aircraft in the name of “Mr Ballot Box” for the authorized officials of the state as well as the Ballot Box.
