Ranchi: The Ranchi police have made a significant breakthrough by arresting five members of the Pardi gang from Madhya Pradesh, who were involved in committing thefts across Jharkhand and several other states. Acting on the directions of SSP Chandan Sinha and under the leadership of City SP Raj Kumar Mehta, a special team carried out the operation.
The arrested individuals include Shankar Kanhaiyalal Solanki, Jujju, Mangal Pardi, Manish Kataria, and Roshan Kumar. During the operation, the police recovered 71 grams of gold, 25 grams of silver, and tools used for carrying out the thefts.
The authorities are now investigating whether more members of this gang are active in Ranchi or other parts of Jharkhand. The gang’s modus operandi involved targeting vacant houses, conducting surveillance during the day, and committing the thefts at night. The stolen goods were then sent to Madhya Pradesh via trains or buses.
