Ranchi: Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several schemes at the airport in Ranchi on Friday. Along with this, battery-operated scooties were provided to 16 Community Health Centers under CSR at Bhagwan Birsa Munda Airport, Ranchi. These scooties purchased at a cost of about Rs 13.5 lakh were received by the ANMs of the health centres. All these scooties can be used in 16 health centers including Fatehpur, Hardag, Jamchua, Sithio, Lalkhatanga, Lali, Balasring.
On this occasion, MP Seth said the work of ANM sisters will be easier through this scooty. Happiness was visible on the faces of the sisters who received the scooty. Earlier they used to have problems in many tasks. By getting the scooty, better work can be done in campaigns like vaccination. He expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
At the same time, at Ranchi Airport itself, the MP also performed Bhumi Pujan for the construction of a canopy (shed) to be completed at a cost of Rs 2.75 crore. The construction of this canopy will provide great relief to the passengers in the sun and rain. The construction work of the said canopy is to be completed within 9 months.
Apart from this, inaugurated new cold storage at the airport. This cold storage made at a cost of 20 lakhs can be used for the maintenance of fruits and vegetables. At the same time, lockers for valuables and separate storage for other items have also been arranged. During this, the MP directed to set up a media center at the airport.
Member of Parliament Seth said Ranchi Airport should be included in the developed airport of the country, in this direction continuous efforts are being made by him. Whatever is possible, every facility will be made available at this airport. Through the CSR of the airport, work is also being done in this direction that welfare work should be done in the airport area itself.
