Nishikant Dubey Says the Project Will Accelerate Regional Development and Ease Transportation
Deoghar: Nishikant Dubey, Member of Parliament from Godda, on Sunday inaugurated the Nawadih-Rohini Railway Overbridge, a major infrastructure project being seen as a new lifeline for the Deoghar region. The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of a large number of local residents, public representatives and party workers.
Addressing the gathering, Dubey described the overbridge as a significant achievement for regional development, smooth transportation and public convenience. He congratulated the people of the area and said the project would greatly improve connectivity and commuting facilities.
The MP stated that the Rohini-Nawadih Railway Overbridge is part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Developed India 2047 vision, under which several infrastructure and development projects are being implemented across the Godda parliamentary constituency.
According to Dubey, the new overbridge will make travel much easier from Deoghar to All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi and other major cities. He said commuters would save considerable travel time and transportation would become smoother and more efficient.
The MP also thanked Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for supporting the project. He remarked that before 2005, Deoghar had seen limited large-scale development, but after he became MP in 2009, focused development work began across Deoghar and the entire Godda constituency.
Dubey further announced that construction work on the Santhali and Aarogya Bhavan railway overbridges would begin soon. He appealed to the state government and local MLA Suresh Paswan for support, stating that Jasidih Junction railway station could be expanded further if additional land is made available.
With the opening of the overbridge, patients travelling to AIIMS Deoghar, as well as passengers heading towards Ranchi, Bokaro and Dhanbad, are expected to benefit significantly. The project is also expected to reduce long waits at railway crossings and ensure uninterrupted vehicular movement in the region.
