Monsoon will be active again in many districts of Jharkhand from Saturday, yellow alert issued

Ranchi: In the last 24 hours, there was light to moderate rainfall at many places in the state.

According to the information received from the Meteorological Center Ranchi, the monsoon activity in Jharkhand is still weak.

In the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain occurred at some places in the state.

While heavy rainfall was also recorded at one or two places.

Maximum 708 mm of rain was recorded in Jamtara.

The highest temperature of 34.6 °C was recorded in Godda, while the minimum temperature of 23.6 °C was recorded in Ranchi.

According to the forecast of Ranchi Meteorological Center, there may be light to moderate rain with thunder in some places of North East Deoghar, Dhanbad, Giridih, Dumka, Godda, Jamtara, Sahibganj and Pakur of Jharkhand till August 15.

In view of the possibility of thunderclap, the Meteorological Department has warned the people by issuing a yellow alert till August 15.

The department has appealed to the people to take shelter only in safe places during this season.

Do not stay under trees and stay away from electric poles.

The department has also made a special appeal to the farmers not to get wet in the fields until the weather becomes normal.
