Ranchi: The state capital and other areas on Wednesday reported light rainfall coupled with lightning and thundering.
The weather station said that throughout the week cloud cover will be witnessed and the state will receive light to medium range of rainfall till July 4. During the last 24 hours, the state capital recorded a maximum temperature of 32.2 degrees while the minimum was at 24.6 degrees.
During this period Monsoon activity has remained weak in the state with Rajmahal in Sahebganj district receiving a maximum rainfall at 22.6 mm. Sahebganj was also the hottest at 37.8 degrees while Ranchi was coolest at 24.6 degrees.
