Monsoon likely to hit Jharkhand on 8th or 9th June

Ranchi: The people of Jharkhand are going to soon get relief from the scorching heat as it is expected that this year Monsoon will knock in Jharkhand a bit early. Monsoon is expected to hit Jharkhand by June 8 or 9. This information has been given by Abhishek Anand, Director, Meteorological Department. He said that pre-monsoon rains have started in Jharkhand.

Change is being seen in the weather in different parts of the state including the capital and ore or less the weather is changing in all the districts. For the past few days in the capital during morning there is high temperature while there is light rain in the evening. Along with the rain, there is also strong wind and thunder.

According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will enter Kerala on May 27. After which it will move towards Jharkhand and will enter Jharkhand from June 8 to 9. The highest temperature in Jharkhand was recorded at Daltonganj at 44 degrees celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 30 degrees celsius in many districts.

For the next five days, the temperature will drop by two to three degrees in Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur and Sahibganj. While the temperature is likely to increase or decrease by one or two degrees in Koderma, Chatra, Garhwa, Latehar, Lohardaga and Palamu. Bokaro, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Ranchi, Khunti, Gumla and East and West Singhbhum are likely to increase the temperature by two to three degrees
