Monsoon active again in Jharkhand, rains due to cyclonic circulation, there will be rain intermittently till July 18

Ranchi:  Monsoon has once again become active in Jharkhand. It has been raining in the entire state including the capital Ranchi since late Saturday evening. If we talk about rain, Ramgarh district has received the maximum rainfall in the last 24 hours. 65.4 mm was recorded here. 

After this, Sahebganj district of Santhal Pargana is in second place. 57.5 mm of rain has been recorded here.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the formation of a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal and the entry of cyclonic circulation from Odisha into Jharkhand, the state is receiving light rains.

According to meteorologist Abhishek Anand, from Sunday till July 18, intermittent rains will continue in Jharkhand.

The effect of these rains will be seen in the south and central areas of the state. Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said the reason for this is a new system forming in the Bay of Bengal on 18 July. Its effect will be on the entire Jharkhand from 21-22 July. During this, there will be continuous good rains for three to four days. During this, there will be thundershowers in many areas along with rain in the state.

Although the Meteorological Department has not issued any kind of alert. According to Abhishek Anand, farmers are expected to get relief from this rain. He appealed to the people to be alert to avoid lightning. They have been warned not to go to the fields during rains and not to stand under trees or electric poles.

In the capital Ranchi, there was a power failure in various areas due to rains late on Saturday evening. Supply was interrupted more than six times from 11 KV industrial feeder of Kokar Rural. Street lights remained switched off on the road from Deeptoli to Khelgaon. At the same time, there was a power failure in many areas of Singh Mod, Sector 2 due to fuse call. There was a problem of low-voltage in the morning in Parastoli of Chutia Ketari Bagan and Doranda. There was a power cut for a long time in Thadpakhana area as well. 

In the midst of rain till 9 o’clock in the night, due to the local fault, electricity continued to come and go in many areas.
