Koderma: A case of assault, molestation, and blackmail involving a minor boy and girl has come to light at the well-known Vrindaha waterfall in Jarga panchayat under the Tilaiya police station area. Two unidentified youths have been accused of threatening the minors with a weapon, recording an obscene video, and extorting money by threatening to make the video viral.
In a written complaint submitted to Tilaiya police, the minor boy stated that he had gone to the Vrindaha waterfall on Thursday morning on a motorcycle with a girl who studies in the same class as him. While they were returning, two unknown youths arrived at the spot, forcibly stopped the motorcycle, and snatched its keys.
The accused allegedly intimidated the minor boy and girl by showing a weapon and pressured them into a compromising situation. They then recorded an objectionable video of the two minors. After recording the video, the youths allegedly began blackmailing the boy, threatening to circulate the video on social media unless money was paid.
According to the complaint, the accused demanded Rs 10,000 immediately. The terrified minor boy managed to contact his friends and arranged the money, which was handed over to the accused. Police said the matter is being investigated and efforts are on to identify and trace the suspects
