Ranchi: Metrological Department Chief Abhishek Anand on Wednesday said, In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature has dropped by 2 to 3 degrees in the state. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rainfall in some parts of the state. There is fog in some parts of the state. Due to which visibility has reduced. The severity of cold has increased due to fog and mist.
Snowfall in the areas adjacent to the Himalayas is affecting the weather of Jharkhand. There may be a slight increase in the minimum temperature in the coming four days as there is a possibility of rain in some parts of the state due to western disturbance.
According to meteorologist Abhishek Anand, there may be rain in some districts of the state till January 7. There will be partly cloudy sky in some parts of the state. The districts where there is a possibility of major change in weather and rain are Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra and Latehar. Light to moderate rain is expected across the state on January 6 and 7.
There is a possibility of change in the weather again from January 8. After this the weather may clear across the state. The sun may be strong. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of Western Disturbance will reduce from the 8th. Light fog and mist were seen in Latehar in the morning, whereas no significant change was seen in the weather in Giridih. Light sunshine was seen in the morning. Along with light morning sunshine, light fog was also seen in Deoghar, but no significant change was felt in the weather.
There is no fog in Palamu, but due to lack of sunlight for long the weather is feeling cold. Fog and mist were seen in Jamtara at 5.30 in the morning. There is no news of any major change in the weather in any part of the state.
According to the weather department, the weather will start changing from today itself. Clouds will be seen in the sky in many parts of the state.
