Members of various delegations meet Chief Minister at Vidhan Sabha over varied demands

Ranchi: Members of various delegations met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Vidhan Sabha here in support of their various demands and issues.

A delegation from Bachra North Panchayat located in Tandwa block of Chatra district led by Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad met the Chief Minister and pointed that Bachra North Panchayat has been converted into Nagar Panchayat and revenue village of Hosir has been detached and included in Kisto panchayat which was 25 kilometres away. They demanded that Bachra North should remain a panchayat and Hosir revenue village should remain a part of it.

Sisai MLA Jigga Sushan Horro met the Chief Minister along with the girl who is now the lone survivor as five members of her family were killed in Buruhatu village under Kamdara Police Station area of Gumla district and urged the government to make arrangements of her education.

Later a delegation led by Ichagarh MLA Savita Mahto met the Chief Minister. In the meeting members of Bhanumathi Neelkanth awards organisation informed that the organisation plans to make a home for the senior citizens in Jamshedpur where 45 old age people will be kept. The delegation urged the Chief Minister to provide land for building the old age home.

A delegation of Urdu teachers association led by cabinet minister Aalamgir Alam also met the Chief Minister and informed him regarding the problems being faced by the teachers of Urdu language.
