Ranchi: As per the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha, a meeting was organized on 22 November 2023 regarding the preparation of the procession and other programs on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.
In the meeting held in room number 207 located at Collectorate Block-A, State Minority Commission Chairman Shamsher Alam, Vice Chairman Jyoti Singh Matharu, Senior Superintendent of Police Ranchi Chandan Kumar Sinha, Sub-Divisional Officer Ranchi, Sadar Deepak Dubey, Additional District Magistrate – Law and Order Rajeshwarnath Alok, City SP Rajkumar Mehta, members of Gurudwara Management Committee and other concerned officials were present.
In the meeting, members of the Gurudwara Management Committee gave their suggestions regarding better arrangements during the Shobha Yatra.
During the procession at major intersections, security arrangements, deputation of women policemen, arrangements for fire brigade, volunteer teams were discussed.
Vice Chairman of the State Minority Commission, Shamsher Alam and Jyoti Singh Matharu promised all possible cooperation to the members of the Gurudwara Management Committee.
The route will be reviewed on 23 November 2023, for the procession to be taken out on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.
This will include members of the Gurudwara Management Committee, Vice Chairman of the Minority Commission and officials of the District Administration.
