Ranchi: The Matriculation and Inter examination in Jharkhand is all set to start from 14th March (Tuesday) . All the preparations for the examination have been completed by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC). The process of delivering the question papers to the examination centers has also commenced.
The question papers will be delivered to all the districts according to the subdivision. This year’s exam will be taken in 1400 centers set up cross the state. Admit cards have been given to the candidates from their schools/colleges.
Guidelines for all the districts and examinees have been issued by JAC regarding the conduct of the examination. The Jharkhand Academic Council has made changes in the matriculation and intermediate examinations to be held on March 24. This change has been made regarding the Sarhul festival. Education Minister Jagarnath Mahto had indicated a change in the exam date of this day.
After which JAC decided that the matriculation examination to be held on 24th March will be taken on 25th March and the Inter exam will be held on April 5. Keeping in mind the convenience of the students, JAC has decided the center for the board exams.
The examination center for matriculation has been made at the block level as far as possible while the examination center for intermediate has been made at the sub-division level. The matriculation exam will be held in the first shift and the intermediate exam in the second shift. There are many such exam centers as well where there will be both matriculation and intermediate examination.
In Ranchi, 159 centers have been set up for matriculation and intermediate examinations. 102 examination centers have been set up for matriculation and 57 for intermediate examination. About 82 thousand candidates will appear in the matriculation and intermediate examination from Ranchi.
In Ranchi district this year more than matriculation candidates are in Inter. According to Jharkhand Academic Council Secretary MK Singh, this time JAC has fixed the schedule from the examination till the release of the result. Also, every effort is being made to follow this schedule. According to the schedule fixed this year, the evaluation of the answer sheet will begin in the month of April, while the result is likely to be released by June 15, 2023.
