Ranchi: The Matric and Intermediate Examination of the Jharkhand Academic Council have commenced from Thursday.
In the first session examination of matriculation was held while that in the second sitting that of the intermediate was held across the various examination centers.
Great enthusiasm was seen among the students and parents as well who had turned up at the examination center. Following the directions of Ranchi DC as per Covid guidelines the students were made to enter the venues.
Reports from different districts including Jamshedpur and Dhanbad also witnessed similar scenes. Moreover, almost all the examination centers to ensure corruption-free conduct CCTV cameras have been installed. At all the centers policemen and magistrates were deputed.
The examination for matric had commenced from 9.45 AM while that from intermediate commenced from 2 PM. On the first day, vocational exams were held. The exams will be held till April 20 for matric while that for intermediate will conclude on April 25.
