Hyderabad: Actress Malavika Mohanan, who features as one of the three female leads in director Maruthi’s horror-comedy The Raja Saab starring Prabhas, has shared a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video of her stunt sequence from the film, revealing her enthusiasm for performing action scenes.
Taking to social media, Malavika posted a clip from the shoot showcasing her fight sequence and expressed her excitement about doing stunts. “As girls, we rarely get to do action in films, but I love doing stunts and had so much fun doing this scene. Did you like this scene?” she wrote.
Her post drew widespread appreciation from fans and followers, many of whom praised her confidence, body language, and intensity during the stunt. Several fans also commended her for performing the action herself rather than using a body double, calling the sequence one of the most striking moments in the film.
Meanwhile, the makers of The Raja Saab have confirmed that the much-anticipated ‘upside-down’ fight sequence has now been added to the theatrical version of the film currently playing in cinemas.
It may be recalled that the production team had earlier revealed that two massive sets were constructed for the film—one depicting a royal mansion where much of the story unfolds, and another designed as an inverted version of the same mansion to shoot key sequences featuring characters appearing upside down.
In the film’s trailer, Prabhas is seen in a striking upside-down scene where he appears as a demon, delivering a powerful line while seated on a throne hanging from the ceiling. Although the upside-down fight sequence was not part of the initial release, it has now been officially included.
Announcing the update on X, production house People Media Factory wrote: “The Upside Down Fight Sequence from #TheRajaSaab is now playing in all theatres. Book your tickets now for an adrenaline-packed big screen experience.”
