Ranchi: A massive fire broke out in Jumar Bridge BSNL campus located at Booti Mod in Ranchi. This fire broke out in a BSNL warehouse. The fire has been burning for the last three hours. Seven fire tenders are trying to control the fire, but the fire could not be controlled. When the fire broke out, large bundles of cables and many other items were kept.
How the fire broke out and how much damage was caused due to this arson could not be estimated. BSNL officials are present at the spot, but they are avoiding saying anything. There was chaos on the spot due to the fire. There are many residential houses also in this area. People are worried about the spread of fire. There were no regular employees in the BSNL office campus.
Due to plastic pipes and cables, black smoke was spread in the area. The sky also looks black. It is being told that the spare parts were kept in the BSNL office campus.
According to the information received from the local people, due to some reason a cable installed in the BSNL premises caught fire which spread due to sparking. Where the fire is, there are a lot of dry bushes, they are also on fire.
The police of Sadar police station and BIT OP along with the team of fire brigade have reached the spot. It is estimated that property worth crores of rupees will be burnt in this arson.
