Deoghar: The Deoghar Airport has been given the look of Baba Mandir with the specially brought it material from Bengaluru. At both the entry and exit gates of the terminal, the look of the temple has been given while various cultural sculptors have been also built on the terminal.
Six check-in counters and two luggage scanners have been installed at the airport. Separate rooms for checking of male and female travellers have been also prepared at the airport while the entire terminal has been equipped with a fire safety system. A separate fire control room has been also prepared for the terminal while final touches have been also given to the VIP lounge and business lounge.
For security from DSP to jawans, a total of 150 police personnel have been deputed at the Deoghar airport. The jawans have been provided basis training regarding check in at the terminal and also for performing the scanner tests. Meanwhile, 8 jawans have been deputed on duty at the airport and are also positioned at the main entrance of the airport.
Officials are working with the target to finish the work by end of November. It is expected that by the end of this month the airport will get operational clearance.
