Ranchi: The court sentenced three accused of raping a minor girl to life imprisonment till their last breath and a fine of Rs 15,000. This information has been given by Chaibasa Police.
According to the police, Muffasil (Pandrashali) police station case no. 138/2022, dated 16 September 2022, under section 323/506/366A/376 (D) Bhadvi and 04/06 POCSO, accused Ramchandra Tiu, father Premsingh Tiu, Anup Pratap Tiu.
A case of raping a minor girl was registered against father Narendra Tiyu, both of village Dopai, police station Pandrashali OP and Sukhlal Honhaga alias Gabbar, father Satish Honhaga, village Puruniya, police station Pandrashali OP.
In the course of the investigation, the three accused were arrested by the Chaibasa police and sent to judicial custody and after collecting all the evidence scientifically, the charge sheet was submitted in the court.
On the basis of which, in the course of trial of the said case, POCSO case no 0-47/2022, dated 10 April 2024, the court of Additional Sessions Judge, West Singhbhum, Chaibasa has booked the accused Ramchandra Tiu, Anup Pratap Tiu and Sukhlal Honhaga under section- 06 POCSO, life imprisonment (till the last breath) and a fine of Rs 15,000 has been given.
