Ranchi: Legends League Cricket (LLC) has announced the schedule and fixtures for the 2023 season. Under this, matches will be played in five cities of India Ranchi, Dehradun, Jammu, Vizag and Surat from 18 November to 9 December 2023. This year 6 teams will play in the Legends League cricket tournament. For this, Paytm and Paytm Insider’s Exclusive Ticketing have announced to become partners.
The inaugural match of LLC 2023 will be held between India Capitals and Bhilwara Kings on November 18 at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi. The match will start at 7 pm. In the first match of the tournament on November 18, former Indian cricketers Gautam Gambhir (India Capitals) and Irfan Pathan (Bhilwara Kings) will face each other as captains. Whereas, the second match will be played between Manipal Tigers and Gujarat Giants on 20th November.
There will be a match between Urbanrisers Hyderabad and Southern SuperStars on 21st November. Whereas, matches will be played between Bhilwara Kings and Gujarat Giants on 22nd November and India Capitals and Urbanrisers Hyderabad on 23rd November.
A total of five matches are to be played in Ranchi. A total of 19 matches will be played in 22 days. The tournament is going to be exciting, as LLC 2023 will have many legends playing together to showcase their mettle. After Ranchi, action will be seen in Dehradun on 24th November.
This match will be between Bhilwara Kings and Gujarat Giants and it will be the sixth match of the season. Four matches will be played in Jammu from November 27 to December 1, while three matches will be played in Visakhapatnam from December 2 to December 4.
The knockout matches of LLC 2023 will be played in Surat, with the semi-finals taking place on December 5 and December 6, while the season will conclude with a spectacular finale on December 9. Raman Raheja, Co-Founder and CEO, Legends League Cricket, said that the last season of Legends League Cricket was very successful and we are ready to entertain the sports lovers with more enthusiasm in the upcoming season.
Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina will take charge of the LLC’s new franchise Urban Risers Hyderabad. LLC has also announced another new franchise Southern Super Stars this season. Its captain will be former Australian captain Aaron Finch.
In the match, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Tillakaratna Dilshan, Parthiv Patel, Chris Gayle, Kevin O’Brien, Gautam Gambhir, Dilhar Fernando, Hashim Amla, Kevin Pietersen, Munaf Patel, Harbhajan Singh, Mohammad Kaif, Robin Uthappa, Aaron Finch, Ashok Dinda, Many famous faces including Ross Taylor, Suresh Raina, Martin Guptill, Pragyan Ojha will be seen playing.
