Khelo Jharkhand Kabaddi competition started, 1728 players are participating

Ranchi: Jharkhand School Education and Literacy Department inaugurated the State Level Khelo Jharkhand Kabaddi Competition 2023 under the aegis of Jharkhand Education Project Council, Ranchi at Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium of Sports Village, Badal Raj (SDEEO, Jharkhand State Education Project Council) and Dhirsen Soreng ( State Program Officer) by lighting the lamp.

On this occasion, he said that the all-round development of every student studying in the state by ensuring their participation in sports along with their studies is our priority. Rajkishore Khakha (Deputy Director of Sports) and Shivendu Dubey (Treasurer Jharkhand Olympic Association) were present as special guests. Dhirsen Soreng said that 1728 players, 288 coaches and managers of the state are participating in this competition organized for under 14/17/19 boys and girls category.

A team of 6 age groups will be selected from these players. Training camp will be organized for the selected players. Let us tell you that under 14 boys will be held in SGFI National Ranchi and other categories will be held in Andhra, Telangana, Karnataka.

Physical Education and Sports Cell members Umesh Kumar Das, M Modassar, Sameer Kumar, Prabhat Ranjan Tiwari, Jagjit Singh, Shankar Pal, Kalavati Kumari and Vidya Kumari are playing the main role in making the competition successful.
