Ranchi: Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan said during the closing ceremony of Khadi Mela 2024 that father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi had said that India can be developed only through Khadi and village industries.
The Governor said that Mahatma Gandhi took the movement forward by making Swadeshi and Khadi a strength.
The same Governor said that Khadi has the power to provide employment opportunities to our rural people.
Jharkhand State Khadi and Village Industries Board is making very good efforts and for this initiative I am very thankful to Jharkhand State Khadi and Village Industries Board as well as Khadi Commission for their efforts.
Here only the stall holders have displayed their crafts, their art.
Not only did they introduce their products, but at the same time they are also promoting our prosperity and culture through this festival.
Appealing to the people of the country, the Governor said that I appeal to all the people to adopt Khadi in their daily life so that our weavers can get financial help.
Governor said that ever since the Prime Minister of our country Narendra Modi has become the brand ambassador of Khadi, Khadi clothes have got a new identity and new heights.
