Ranchi: Director of Jharkhand State Child Protection Society Rajeshwari B directed the officials to continuously monitor the already running schemes.
She said that while taking initiatives for efficient financial management and administrative reforms, keep a close watch on expenditure and also lay emphasis on rationalizing it.
She was speaking in the meeting to review the details of the amount spent against the plan-wise budget, approval orders issued against the plan budget and the status of expenditure.
Rajeshwari B took information from all the institutions about the work being done by them regarding the intellectual development of children.
She directed that arrangements should also be made for the children of the Child Protection Unit to meet the children of other schools and play with them.
Instructions were given to provide sports material for the development of mental and intellectual abilities in the places where children are kept.
Also reviewed the operational arrangements of the Child Protection Unit operated under the leadership of Director, Social Welfare Department.
Deputy Secretary Vikas Kumar, DCPO team and other officers were present in the meeting.
