Karishma Tanna cherishes peaceful mornings as she prepares for motherhood

Mumbai- Actress Karishma Tanna, who is expecting her first child, has shared that her favourite part of the day is spending quiet moments with herself early in the morning.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Karishma posted two videos from her verandah, where she can be seen enjoying the calm surroundings.

“My fav time… early morning with myself,” she captioned one of the clips.

In another story, she expressed her love for music, writing, “Music is the quickest way to my heart—it turns my mood around and brings a smile to my face instantly.”

Karishma began dating Mumbai-based real estate businessman Varun Bangera in 2021, and the couple tied the knot in February 2022. Earlier this year, in April, they announced that they are expecting their first child.

Sharing pictures from their maternity photoshoot in a joint Instagram post, the couple wrote, “A little miracle, our greatest gift — August 2026.”

Over the years, Karishma has appeared in several popular television shows, including Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Naagin 3, and Qayamat Ki Raat. She has also featured in Bollywood films such as Grand Masti, Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju, and Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari. More recently, she won praise for her performances in the OTT series Hush Hush and Hansal Mehta’s acclaimed web series Scoop.

A fitness enthusiast, Karishma has also been sharing her pregnancy wellness journey. In a recent video from the gym, she encouraged expectant mothers to stay active, saying that daily walks have been one of the biggest contributors to her physical and mental well-being during pregnancy.

“One thing that genuinely helps me during pregnancy is walking. Even a simple daily walk makes such a difference physically and mentally,” she said.

Acknowledging the physical and emotional changes that come with pregnancy, she added, “Pregnancy is beautiful, but the body changes, the tiredness—it’s all real. That’s exactly why movement becomes very important. No pressure, but just stay active, strong and connected to your body.”

She noted that even 20 to 30 minutes of walking every day can help reduce swelling and stiffness, improve sleep and digestion, ease mood swings, and make one feel better overall.

Karishma concluded by urging all moms-to-be to be kind to themselves while continuing to stay active throughout their pregnancy.
