Ranchi: After the retirement of Jharkhand High Court Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Senior High Court Justice S Chandrashekhar has been given the responsibility of the office of Chief Justice.
Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra is retiring on 28 December.
In the order issued, it has been said that on behalf of the President, Justice S Chandrashekhar of Jharkhand High Court has been appointed to discharge the duties of the office of Chief Justice of the High Court, which will be effective from December 29.
This order has been issued by Narayan Prasad, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India.
