Ramgarh: Justice Deepak Roshan of the Jharkhand High Court, who is also the Administrative Judge of the Ramgarh judicial division, paid an official visit to the Civil Court in Ramgarh on Saturday morning. He was accorded a traditional and grand welcome by the court and district administration, followed by a ceremonial Guard of Honour.
During the visit, Justice Roshan performed the Bhoomi Pujan and laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Vulnerable Witness Deposition Centre (VWDC) building and the new main entrance gate of the Ramgarh Civil Court campus. He also inaugurated the newly constructed pantry within the court premises.
The event was attended by Principal District and Sessions Judge Md. Toufiqul Hasan, Principal Judge of the Family Court Rajeev Anand, District and Additional Sessions Judge-I Vishal Srivastava, along with other judicial officers. Deputy Commissioner Rituraj, Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Lunayat, officials from the district administration, members of the prosecution department, and the Ramgarh Bar Association were also present.
Later, Justice Roshan held a review meeting with judicial officers and district administration officials to assess law and order as well as the functioning of the court. He issued necessary directions regarding judicial and administrative matters.
He also inspected the ongoing renovation work in the main court building and directed the Executive Engineer of the Building Construction Department to ensure speedy and quality execution of the work.
As part of the visit, Justice Deepak Roshan planted saplings in the court premises in the presence of judicial officers and district administration officials.
