Junior National Archery: Jharkhand won gold in boy’s category, girls team got bronze

Ranchi: Jharkhand Junior Boys Indian Round team won the gold medal on Tuesday in the 43rd Junior National Archery Competition held in Bharatpur, Rajasthan.

The winning team included Sameer Behera, Arvind Tudu, Sunil Kumar, and Chittaranjan. In the girl’s category, she won a bronze medal in the Indian round.

This team included Varsha Khalko, Kajal Kumari, Madhu Kumari, and April Tudu. Jharkhand has so far won a total of 5 medals including 02 gold, 01 silver, 02 bronze in the 43rd National Junior Archery Championship held from 16 to 22 November.

On the victory, Jharkhand players along with team trainers Mohan Sahu, Shweta Pandey, Shivkumar Mahato, Sumit Mishra, D Sainswari were congratulated by the officials of Jharkhand Archery Association.
