JAC 12th board result released, girls topped in science, arts and commerce

Ranchi: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the result of Inter Board Examination (12th Board) on Tuesday. Secretary in-charge of Education Department Uma Shankar Singh, present as the chief guest in the program, special guest and Director of Secondary Education Utkarsh Gupta and JAC President Anil Mahato jointly released the Inter Board result.

This year 3 lakh 44 thousand candidates appeared in the 12th board examination. Of these, 94,433 candidates appeared for Science, 25,907 for Commerce and 2,24,502 for Arts. 94433 students had registered in Science. Of these, 93805 students appeared in the examination. But only 68203 students have passed the examination.

This includes 72.2 percent boys and 72.67 percent girls. 72.70 percent of students have passed in the first division. Talking about vocational, 508 candidates had registered. Of these, only 493 students appeared in the examination.

Out of 493, 439 students i.e. 89.22 percent students have passed. Talking about commerce stream, 23235 (90.06 percent) students have passed. There are 93 girls in it. 61 candidates have passed with first division. A total of 25907 students had registered in Commerce.

Out of these, only 25644 candidates appeared in the examination. 93.7 percent of students have passed in Arts. In this, 83404 students have got first division. A total of 2 lakh 24 thousand 502 students had registered in Arts.

Out of these, only 2 lakh 6 thousand 685 students passed the examination. Girls have also won in arts. JAC 12th board exam was conducted from 6 February 2024 to 26 February 2024 in the second shift. The practical exam was held from 27th February to 5th March. A total of 740 examination centers were created for the board examination.

Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) had earlier released the result of Secondary Board Examination (10th Board) on 19 April. 90.39 percent children had achieved success in the matriculation examination. In the year 2024, 4,21,687 (1,91,262 boys and 2,00,549 girls) students had registered. But only 418623 candidates appeared in the examination. Of these, 3,38,398 (90.39 percent) students passed the examination. In this, 2,05,110 candidates (54.20 percent) passed in first division, 1,53,733 (40.65 percent) passed in second division and 19,555 (5.17 percent) passed in third division.
