Ranchi: Admission for JSSC CGL exam has started from 7 am at various exam center in Ranchi on Sunday. The reporting time for the exam is 7:30 to 8:15. The examination will be held in three shifts.
The first shift will be conducted from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, the second shift from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm and the third shift exam will be conducted from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Candidates who have come from faraway places are standing in line and going through the entire verification process, while Section 144 has been imposed outside the examination center.
Besides, strict security arrangements have also been made. JSC CGL examination is to be conducted in two phases. First phase of SSC CGL exam. The second phase exam is on 4th February.
About 6.5 lakh candidates have registered for the CGL exam. 108 centers have been made in Ranchi district for this examination, whereas around 70000 candidates can come to take the examination in 108 examination centers of Ranchi district.
JSSC CGL exam is taking place after 9 years. The form for this was first filled in 2015. But every time it is getting postponed due to some reason or the other. But this exam is being held after 9 years in 2024. CGL exam was to be held on 16th and 17th December. But JSSC decided to postpone it and take it on 28th January and 4th February.
